Those kids are blessed to have you by their side and sometimes silence is best when it comes to these tough situations with children, at least until the hurt feelings subside... they are so impressionable. Being there for them is just what they needed and that's exactly what you did :-)
It was so great hearing from you on my blog today! I'm glad you are doing well! It seems the kids are always going nuts in there and unattended by parents. I think you are just going to have to work harder at finding the right environment for the kids to be in until they settle in. It will be important for them to be with nice, understanding families at a neighborhood park WITH parents in attendance AND paying attention to their children. It may take work, but those kids need it now.

Breaks my heart. Thank you for taking them in.Linhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07042143254001890567noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8430245182138060252.post-36100965322001003292015-06-10T06:16:03.065-07:002015-06-10T06:16:03.065-07:00What a heartbreaking story. It is hard for us as parents to endure our children being the butt of the jokes and or being on the receiving end of hurtful behavior. It sounds like the one child was being curious. In all honesty, it probably was strange for a child to see a boy with pony tails. Hopefully the parents will have a conversation on the differences with other people. I hope everything turned out okay in the end.Rhonda Gales https://www.blogger.com/profile/10237938674910908032noreply@blogger.com
