You're not the boss of me....well...not always...

This is our weekend to have Baby Boo and each time she's here, she has learned something new. She's now managing to carry on a full conversation. It may not be the most interesting thing to chat about but she's happy to talk as long as someone is listening. Here is the conversation her and I just had.

Me: Baby Boo, I've got to clean up. You wanna help?

Baby Boo: Hep. I hep! (She dances foot to foot, anxious to get started)

Me: I'm going to vacuum.Do you want to help?

(Baby Boo disappears in a flash. Then I hear a scream. She's in her room with her lip quivering.)

Baby Boo: Momo! Momo! No like vacuum. Scared. (she lifts her arms for me to pick her up)

(I carry her to the vacuum and touch the handle.)

Me: Vacuum is nice. See? Nice!

Baby Boo: Put way. Put vacuum way. Coset.

(I move the vacuum around.)

Me: Varoom. Varoom. Don't you want to help Momo clean?

Baby Boo: No. Vacuum way. Coset Momo. Put way.

(I sigh loudly and put it away. She peeks behind my leg to make sure the closet door is closed)

(Baby Boo runs to tell everyone the news.)

Baby Boo: Momo put vacuum way! Vacuum in coset!

Well, so much for vacuuming while she's here. The boss has spoken. It's time to kick up my feet and relax instead.

She is a doll! You are so good to be able to do her. I struggle daily with the thoughts of Brandon's other kids. I could never do them as often as you do baby boo. Hats off to you sister.

She's precious. My ex had a daughter, she's almost 2 1/2 years now, It kills me to no longer be part of her life. You end up loving them like yor own blood.
& yes, kids are so damn bossy, but they're so adorable doing it. :)

aaahhh... maybe you can get her one of those little kid vaccum's so she gets used to it... she's gotta find out that the vaccum is a ride in itself - she can sit on it while you push her... that' the best part! :-)

AWW she is adorable. I love all those cute things they say. Is she you granddaughter or is this your fiance's daughter?

My friend was telling me last night her daughter is afraid of the vaccuum too.

How funny. Gianna freaks out everytime I roll out the vacuum! She screams if it gets turned on in the same room as her. She shakes like it's a giant monster about to eat her.

My Keesha goes into the corner of the garden when I hoover up and sits behind a big plant hiding. All you can see are the tips of her ears over the top.

Maybe you should find her a little toy vacuum to play with?

Aw shucks! That is just adorable. My son didn't like the vacuum much at all either. I'd have to hold him and vacuum with one hand.

What a cutie she is!! I'm going through the same phrase with my 15 month old. He is showing real signs of wanting to carry a cono. Every 5th babble is a real word. It's so cute.

Interestly, my lil guy is terrified of the ironing board. it's the craziest thing.
