Creative Saturday Revisited

It was actually a pretty busy Saturday for me and it's still not over with. I did create though.

First of all, I made peach pineapple salsa. I usually make mango salsa but wanted something different for a change. Here's the end result. The only thing is, I'm am SO my mother's child where we have always eaten our homemade salsa with a kick to it. We'd sit with our noses running, and sweating and enjoying the heat of the salsa. Now that I'm not making it for just me but for more heat wimps, I had to tone it down a bit.

I also spent some time working on a song that I've been hearing in my head for quite awhile. No words to it just the melody.

I'm also working on a mural that isn't quite finished so I'll show you all once it's complete. In the meantime.....

Was it a creative Saturday for you?

I seriously wanted to reach into my computer screen and eat some of that salsa Simone!!! OOOhhhhhh...it looks so good! And I'm laughing at you toning down the heat for the "heat wimps"!! :) That would be me...I am much more able to eat "heat" since I had chemo (it changed my taste buds) but I'm not quite up to inferno level!!! :)

I was creative..I played with words on the computer for some laughs and I worked on some journal classes I'm taking.

Love the photo of you at the piano...some music needs no words..perhaps yours will continue to be melody..as long as it makes you happy it will work out the way it is meant to! :)

The salsa sounds wonderful! I'll have to give it a try too~

I WAS creative this Saturday....I told you I would join in! I got out paints and canvas and painted for the first time in YEARS! I'm mostly pleased with the end result, but looking at it this morning I see some changes I want to make.

Make it a wonderful Sunday~

You'll have to post your recipe.

I did a bit of fall decorating this weekend, but that was the extent of my creativity.

Happy Sunday!

That salsa looks fantastic!! If I was to come to your house please be aware I am NO HEAT WIMP!! But I too live with someone who I term has a "delicate palate".... so I keep the heat on the side for me....

That salsa sounds and looks so gooood! I'm a heat wimp too, so I'll take it just as you made it. HA! It is so neat that you are composing music. I hope you post a video of it so we can all hear the beautiful music you create!

I LOVE salsa! Yours look delicious.

I went to a wedding on Saturday. I was going to wear a necklace that I always wear with my dress, but then thought to look to see what else I had. I found a beautiful blue zircon necklace held by a very fine gold chain. There were also matching earrings. My husand had given me the set when I was having kids and never got dressed up. I'd forgotten how pretty and lovely the jewelry is. Glad a little creativity kicked in!

Keep working on your compostition!
