Have you ever had an unbelievable story to tell? Let's hear it!

I was thinking that there are times when something happens in my life that is hardly believable so I keep it to myself. When I first met Boo, I had one of those experiences.

Boo's parents both passed away before I had the opportunity to meet them. I had also never laid eyes on them in photos either. The first week, we were together, I "met" his dad. I was asleep when I dreamed that I was comfortably talking to a man who somewhat resembled Boo. He was soft spoken with friendly eyes. He told me about Boo. I woke up and later, I asked Boo if his dad was soft-spoken with a very gentle spirit. He said that he was. I asked to see a photo of him. He pulled out a picture of his dad and I told him, "I met your dad. That was him that I was talking to last night."

About a week later, as we were talking about visitation issues with Baby Boo, I had a dream where this time, I met his mom. Once again, I hadn't seen a picture of her. I felt her love radiating through her smile. She told me to tell Boo not to worry, that's she's keeping an eye out on the grandbabies. She also said that Boo can be hardheaded but not to give up on him. She had a twinkle in her eyes and a beautiful smile. Her skin was the color of smooth chocolate.

That same day, Boo brought out a picture of his mom. I smiled because I knew that I had had a special visit with both of his parents. Even now, I sometimes talk to them about their stubborn son. I still have dreams where we are talking together.

I wish that I had had a chance to spend time with them. I know that I would've loved laughing with them and caring for them. But, I'm thankful for the chance to meet them while still here on earth.

Do you have an unbelievable story? I want to hear!!

Fabulous post and topic. I totally believe that you have meet his parents in a dream state.

My unbelievable story is of leaving my body when I thought I was going to be in a car collision but somehow that collision didn't occur (which I can't explain). I then felt myself slide back into my body.

If it wasn't for the fact that my sister was with me and had this same experience, I would not have believed it. She actually wrote about it in a recent post she did. If you are interested, you can visit her blog, there is a direct link to it in my right-hand margin.

Again, terrific post. Love sharing these mysterious happenings.

You seem to be a sensitive and open person, enough to receive through your thoughts and dreams. Glad you were able to meet and feel Boo's parents. I'm sure that means a lot to you.

People Who Know Me Would Say: said...

It's first thing in the morning, so nothing is coming to mind. I will say my dreams are always other worldly and very entertaining, with guest stars and everything.

Your story was REALLY great! Don't you find yourself wishing they'd come back again in another dream?

I have many, many unbelievable stories, but will share a short one.
My daughter has always been quite advanced; at three, she could spell over 200 words. One day, at age 2, she was scribbling with crayons when she suddenly asked me, "Whatever happened to Jem McGee?" "Who?" I asked her, and she repeated the name. When I told her I didn't know who that was, she said, "Don't you 'member? He was that bad man that went into the fire and we never saw him again."
This was an intelligent child who had never shown any sign of imagination, but she repeated that statement, and told me she and I were standing on the porch and watched him go into the fire. Then she looked at me strangely and said, "But you weren't you, were you?"
And a few months later, when we got her first kitten, I asked her what she was going to name her. "Thompsey Dellon," she said, without hesitation. When I laughed and asked her where she gotten such a name, she said, "Don't you 'member? That was my little friend in Kansas." We lived in Tennessee, and as far as I know, she had never heard of Kansas.
whoooooooooooo.......

I don't have any stories like this. This is great that you got to meet Boo's parents, even in your dreams.

What a wonderful story. What a peace that it must give you to have met both of Boos parents.

I have had many supernatural things happen that were so cool and I believe of God.

The shortest one to tell would be as I was rounding a double curve on the way home from school one day I met a car speeding on the wrong side of the road. Head lights to head lights I was prepared to meet my maker and literally closed my eyes and screamed the name of Jesus. Opening my eyes I saw the car speeding away in my rear view mirror. Unbelievable. Too often we fail to share such miracles afraid others will think we're nuts!

Have a terrifically blessed day filled with unbelievable miracles.

That was really beautiful. I really do believe that some people are more "in tune" with these things than others...

Wonderful post. The only thing that would even come close was the day my mother died. She had been in a coma for almost 2 weeks. My husband's father had died a month before but they were having a Memorial service for him. I could swear that my mother waited until my husband arrived at the nursing home before she drew her last breath. She knew I was going to need his strength. She died less than 1/2 an hour after he came to be with me. Loving and thoughtful to the end!
