It Couldn't Get Any Better!

I have learned not to place any expectations on my day. I wake up in the morning and open my eyes and the first thing I do is to praise God for letting me see another day. From that point on, I have no idea what lies in store...totally leaving it up to Him.

Today was one of those days where I was reminded of how loved I truly am. Boo started the morning out by making a special Mother's day brunch. I love that he put his whole heart into making a sandwich for me.

Then, Married Boo and Son In Boo and Single Boo arrived and the fun began. The house becomes alive the minute they all walk in the door The dogs start barking and running for their toys, the music seems tog get louder and even the sun shines brighter.

To sum up the day, it couldn't have been any better. Vegetarian Cuban Black bean tacos, ceviche, guacamole, salsa and Earthquake cake...a Mother's day dream come true!

I'm blessed beyond measure. Tonight I'm going to sleep with a smile on my face.

How was your Mother's day?

So good to hear that you had a wonderful Mother's Day. :)

I got hugs and kisses first thing in the morning and then flowers --real & craft ones. :)

I was very busy writing my exams and then when I reached home at 7 PM was too tired to respond to anything... My kids are getting their Mom educated LOL

Beautiful mothers day with my kids and granddaughter. I, too have learned to let things happen and not expect certain things...it makes my day even more beautiful.

I like a day when "have tos" go out the window! I spent the day puttering in the yard and garden. That's heaven to me. Now, if only I had gotten a nap in there somewhere....

Your day sounds absolutely perfect! My day was grand, complete with Twizzlers, pizza, and the movie "Babies." And...in church I got to hold a baby through the entire service, and give her back to her grandmother at the end. It was great.

What a wonderful day you had. The menu made my mouth water!

I am not a mother so I don't get anything special but we took Bob's mother out for brunch and shopping for a new chair for her house. It was a lovely day.

I love the meal you had ! It sounds delish---you were treated like royalty for sure. Happy Belated Mother's Day!

We went out for brunch. There's no way my Hubs would make me breakfast in bed and the kids are too little to do much besides bring me a cereal bar from the pantry. LOL!
