Things I've Learned Thursday

1) Where has Nutella been all my life? I can eat it with a spoon...forget the banana or pretzel sticks!

2) In N Out Burgers does not deliver to Oregon!

3) Living close by to a bar and grill makes for a very restless, noisy night. Thursdays are the longest nights of all - karaoke night. They sing until 2 am.

4) When Single Boo is talking on Skype using her webcam, I should NOT go into her room unless I am completely clothed.

5) Brand new tires cost a lot of money considering they are nothing but rubber and steel. I wish there was a such thing as a lay away plan.

6) I get weirded out when someone asks to befriend me on Facebook and I have no idea who they are.

7) I think deep fried butter is taking junk food a little too far.

8) The best pictures are those that I see when I don't have my camera with me.

9) I will not spend 95.00 again on an oil change. I will learn how to do it myself. (Do any of you ladies change your own oil?)

10) Spiders love hanging out in bathroom drains.

What have you learned?

I'm with you on people befriending you on Facebook when you don't know them. I can't figure that out.
I think you need to move to Michigan. Oil changes here are $29!

Thanks to you, I now know what those zigzag lines on the road are for! :)

Oh nutella! I can't live without it! Hunbby is also making sure that he doesn't step in the room with a towel on when I'm talking to my family on skype. I could not forget how he reacted when he went inside the room one time while the camera was on. lol!

A layaway plan for tires would be awesome! I dread it every time Builderman needs new tires for his truck. Ouch!

In & Out is the best. Of course you don't have your camera, isn't that kinda like murphy's law? Hope your having a good week.

Yes, random facebook requests are super weird! Sometimes I wonder if they're bloggers and I just don't know the blogger's real name.

Why didn't I think to put Nutella on my pretzels? I have a jar in my pantry!

Someone just asked to be my friend on FB and I have no clue who they are...and what's wierd is it said they found me through Friend Finder so doesn't that mean they were specifically looking for me? Maybe it's someone from high school that I've forgotten about...and then why would I want to be friends with them on FB if they were so forgettable?

Deep fried butter? Eeeew, that makes my stomach turn.

You learned a lot on Thursday this week. I love the Skype one - TMI.

I will have to try Nutella.

How is the job search coming?

I have learned that there is no mistake taht can't be corrected. That's good 'cause I make plenty of them.

You are SO right about not having a camera around when the best photo op's happen.

And, what is up with non friends wanting to friend someone else on FB? I delete the request right away.

Had to laugh at the Skype thing, too funny!

Great things. I adore Nutella. It's not safe in my house. What have I learned? Worry keeps me up and does nothing for my looks in the mornings. It also never solves anything.

Oh and like you I'm also creeped out my unknown friends requests on Facebook.

I still haven't tried this nutella stuff yet! Must look for it in the store soon!

Ugh, we've had spiders and other weird bugs in the house lately too, I think it's from all the rain we've been having here.

I've learned that it's okay to cry even though my husband thinks I'm weird and hormonal.

I've learned that my diva loves me b/c she finally told me so :-)

I've learned to take a break when I need to, especially from a volunteer position!

I've never tried Nutella! I will pick some up next shopping trip.

#6--I KNOW!! It's weird!!
#7--that doesn't even sound good..
#8--amen.
#10--That's just not right. Can't they go live in a garden or something?

You and I enjoy Nutella the same way! It is better than candy and very very very addictive... loved your post about Oregon. The folks in the Pacific Northwest are much more laid back and less judgmental, even if they have had all the same procedures as those in CA. In Alaska the millionaires drive the rustiest, most beat up old pickup trucks. I never judge a book by its cover. Even though I will admit to doing Botox.... xoxoxoxo

Yes, gotta watch Skype or next thing you know you will be on You Tube or America's Funniest Videos.
Love your blog. It makes me laugh out loud!

My boys live on Nutella! I get weirded out too when a stranger on FB asks to befriend me.

Happy Friday, Simone!

I guess I'm one of the few that isn't a fan of In and Out. I love Carl's Jr burgers!

Laughing at the skype thing. I haven't figured that out yet but my daughter has used a web cam a few times when I've walked behind it! Good thing I had clothes on :)

I don't know how to change oil but I do know how to change a tire and I've come to the aid of another woman one time sitting on the side of the road and changed her tire for her, back in the days before cell phones. She just couldn't get over it! And I was in a skirt and heels when I did it, haha!

PS...Facebook in itself creeps me out, especially after hearing how they're selling our information to vendors and all kinds of other people. I deleted my account and if it means I'm not in contact with those who hate to email, so be it. "Big Brother" knows enough about me already!

And the most important thing I've ever learned in life is "a soft answer turneth away wrath". This has come to my aid many times.

Hi, I followed you from Prayforroy. I enjoyed your words.

Somethings I learned, are that you can not make dogs pee 'on demand' (unless it's their choice and then you can't stop them).

That sometimes the very love that makes a mothers heart so full of joy, is the same love that brings it sorrow.

That not all pedicurists speak with a foreign accent.

That the sun will always come up tomorrow...somewhere.

You just summed up why I'm afraid to get a webcam. That, and I'd have to put on a clean shirt AND clean my desk. And then there go all the advantages to talking on a computer.
