Homemade Christmas

My favorite way to celebrate Christmas is with the family. This year is even more special because the family has gotten bigger. There's now 10 of us to spend time together, simply enjoying each other's company.

Of course it wouldn't be any fun unless there were Christmas crafts thrown in.

I planned out 5 different ornaments to make. The dining room turned into a diy craft party.

I lost count of how many times we all laughed. We painted, glittered, glued, wrapped and cut until masterpieces were created.

I have a feeling that this is the start of a tradition!

What a great idea! I love doing something when family gathers. Crafts, playing cards or board games - something about working together really adds to the joy.

Have a Merry Christmas! It looks like you already are...

The precious gift of T-I-M-E!
You guys have honed in on a very important portion of Christmas. Great memories in the making and a very "crafty" family. New talents discovered?

Hi Simone! I am back cuz I just want you to know I was in NJ --- have to fly from Newark to Seattle, have a short layover, then off to ANC... if I am ever in Portland I will be sure to let you know! xo

This is such a 'serendipitous' moment finding you. Yes, I did read your profile and thought, how 'serendipitous' to discover a glimpse of who you are through a comment thread on our precious friend Debby's, Heavenly Humor blog.
I am now following you! God bless you!

What a wonderful idea! It reminds me that crafts are not just for the very young kids. We all love that kind of stuff.
