Creative Saturday

Big Giveaway Reminder.....

I'm excited to celebrate the Christmas holiday by giving away a brand new Nintendo Wii Fit Plus.

Note: This is ONLY the Wii Fit Plus with the balance board and not the Wii Console. You must purchase the Wii Gaming Console to use Wii Fit Plus.

If you'd like to enter for a chance to win, please go here for the rules and the opportunity to enter.

I was creative but in a cleaning sort of way. I have a tendency to hate clutter in the garage and when it gets to a point where I'm ready to scream, I head out with my ipod and start tossing stuff out. I actually collected some stuff to donate as well but all in all, I was very pleased with the results.

I am working on my portfolio for wall murals so I've been busy sketching Snow White, The Princess and the Frog, Sponge Bob, Dora...you name it, I've been sketching. I'm hoping to have another huge giveaway for all of my blog followers in January, so please keep any eye out for it.

I'm also trying to play Santa's elf and have been working on making a few Christmas gifts to give to the Boos. The guys are the hardest! I can't seem to think of any gifts to make for them. If you all have any suggestions, please toss them my way.

Were you creative? If cleaning was a part of your creativity, that counts too!

Wow you are creative and productive too. One thing my sister did last year, she got the idea from the Oprah show. When to the dollar store and got these little boxes but you can use almost any thing and she did individual notes ten of them listing the 10 things I love about you. I really loved it and cherish it. Baked goods are a love of all! Used book store might have a nice collection for less. Men are hard but I think the Boos men will love what ever you do knowing it comes from the heart. Have a wonderful weekend!!

I'm with you when it comes to sorting and donating, giving away, tossing through stuff. I always feel as though I've accomplished so much! I clean Mom's big closet yesterday. Loved. Every. Minute.

I think you should fly to the east coast and paint me a mural. I love what you do.

The iTunes make the work go much faster.... I have Beyonce's song, Single Ladies, playing in my head right now....

If I were to get a creative gift, I just love those knitted dishcloths made with kitchen cotton. They last FOREVER. Quick to knit and very useful. I wish I was not too busy to make a few. but your art work is wonderful and would be appreciated by anyone!

And thank you for your kind words about my mom. I really appreciate your kindness and friendship. xoxo

I tend to listen to music while I clean too. It helps! You really have been creative lately!

Thanks for calling cleaning creative. That's what I did all last weekend! This weekend I shopped-- does that count as creative :-)

I think just trying to keep up with all of the running around associated with the holidays is gonna have to be creative enough for me. My quilt that I was quilting is just sitting on the couch, waiting for me to return to it. Perhaps when the holidays are actually here!

Can you come over and clean my garage when you're done with yours? You're in CA, right? Well, me too! See, so it really wouldn't take you long to get here!!

I hate cleaning our garage but everytime we do it, we manage to find a bunch of things to donate, which is always a great feeling.

The only creative thing I've done recently was making gingerbread houses with the kiddos. Stressful but also lots of fun!

I get like that too -- when the clutter becomes "bigger than me" it's time for a toss fest!! I love it when I'm decorating (like now) because it's a perfect time to assess what I have and what I no longer need or want.

I was creative all weekend..I've been busy making Christmas cards...once I get started, I don't seem able to stop!! :)

And no ideas at all on what to make for guys...I find it hard to shop for the 3 men in my life.

Now here is an idea I've been toying with...don't know if the men in your life would like this, they might, but I think it's great for women anyway.

Take an old jar (any kind will do), create a fancy label on the computer or by hand. On a sheet of paper type of all kinds of quotes -- daily life, inspirational, spiritual -- whatever you like. Cut them and add them to the jar. The person can pull one out whenever they feel the need for something inspiring.

Cost? Virtually nothing but your time and a little thought to what the person might like to read.
