What brings me joy?

Audrey is giving away a $300.00 Target gift card. Please take the time to visit her blog and enter. Here are the rules of entering:

You must have a blog to enter. No ifs, ands or buts about it! Gotta have one.

Write a post about what brings you joy in your life. I don't care if it's warm puppy dog noses, pink kitten paws, snuggles in the morning with your kids, or enjoying a hot cup of coffee in the still, small, quiet of the breaking dawn. If it brings you any measure of joy, write about it and share that joy with us. Once your post is up, link back here in the MckLinky area so that we can all click over (linky love...tis the season!), and read about it. At the end of your post make sure you link back here to this post. Also, display the button below in your post too! Oh and don't forget to leave me a comment...I love comments!

That gets you an initial entry into the giveaway. (See her blog for further chances to enter.)

BIG REMINDER...You have two days to enter the Wii Fit Plus Giveaway...here are the details...

I'm excited to celebrate the Christmas holiday by giving away a brand new Nintendo Wii Fit Plus. I have the Wii Fit and trust me, the Wii Fit Plus has way more to offer!

Note: This is ONLY the Wii Fit Plus with the balance board and not the Wii Console. You must purchase the Wii Gaming Console to use Wii Fit Plus.

If you'd like to enter for a chance to win, please go here for the rules and the opportunity to enter.

What brings me joy?

Actually, for me, it's now what but who. I never imagined that I would be taken on a virtual journey to Malaysia, Germany, South Carolina, Texas, Nebraska, California (although not necessarily virtual since I live here), Virginia, Alaska, Canada, Maine, Maryland....actually all over the world and meet so many friends who have tremendously touched my life.

I never realized how much a blog friend's story of dealing with a husband with cancer could affect me so profoundly.

I never realized that seeing a little one walk for the very first time on a vlog would cause me to cheer and hooray out loud.

I never expected to find courage in facing some of the obstacles that I've faced in my life time....yet, I have found courage and a voice because of precious blog friends across the world.

I found joy in crying tears of happiness as one blog friend said, "I do" to her best friend in the world.

I have shared my hopes and dreams and fears, failures and discoveries and in return, I've received love and support and encouragement.

I have found joy in a place I never thought possible...I found joy, everywhere!

Simone, that was beautiful and so well written. I think we can all relate to all those ups and downs we so generously share with one another. This blogging community of ours is full of the most giving, caring, honest and friendly people. I feel blessed to have been welcomed into such an outstanding circle of support.

Beautiful post, Simone. It is so wonderful how blogging has opened up our worlds and at the same has made it smaller. :)

I loved your wonderfully written post. It is funny how very connected you become with your blogsisters. Caring, praying and supporting one another in our life's journey we definitely form bonds that was unexpected to me.

Have a super day, Simone!!!
