What did you do?

I'm excited to celebrate the Christmas holiday by giving away a brand new Nintendo Wii Fit Plus. I have the Wii Fit and trust me, the Wii Fit Plus has way more to offer!

Note: This is ONLY the Wii Fit Plus with the balance board and not the Wii Console. You must purchase the Wii Gaming Console to use Wii Fit Plus.

If you'd like to enter for a chance to win, please go here for the rules and the opportunity to enter.

When my daughter was training in gymnastics, whenever one of the gymnasts got a new skill, they'd ring the bell located in the center of the gym floor. All of the gymnasts would stop and yell, "What did you do?" The gymnast would answer, "I got my round off, back handspring, tuck." Then the whole gym would scream out in applause.

The bell is here and I'm asking you, "What did you do?" What have you done today or any day this week that has made you proud or want to share? We don't talk enough about ourselves or our accomplishments because I know it may seem vain to bang your own drum. But, I'm officially giving you permission to ring the bell.

Ring, Ring!!!

"What did you do?"

I kept my cool instead of acting on impulse. There's a whole nother story behind this but I won't bore you with the details.

I never ring my bell. You're right. I can't start now!

This is so hard to do, we are so conditioned to just do for others and not think about it. Where do I start? I spent my day drawing and coloring with my daughter and then took her to the Governor's Mansion this evening to see the decorations. Does this count?

I am in the process of healing and spending the time recovering at home instead of the hospital. Reading blogs and answering them really does brighten your day.

I prepared "Santa letters" to both J & Z, printed them up, printed up the envelopes (finally got them right after 8,013,411 tries!) and put them in the mailbox for J & Z to find!

They were so excited to receive a personal letter from Santa, complete with a postmark from the North Pole! :)

Ding, ding, ding!

Let's see...I nursed my mother-in-law yesterday; I nursed my son today; I made about 10 cards today to send out for Christmas and resisted a few urges I had today!! :) Great idea to ring the bell!!

I donated money to the music school today, and added an extra $5 that I hadn't planned to. I was a little more generous. Does that count as ringing my bell. I only told you this beacause you asked and I wanted to see how it feels.

I cleaned the kitchen thoroughly yesterday and I HATE housework.

Does that count?

UMMM! Love the idea of patting your self on the back or ringing the bell!

I don't brag well, heck I have trouble accepting a complement although I always enjoy ringing other peoples bells for them.

I always try to do random acts of kindness throughout the day. Small stuff like helping a stranger in the grocery store, anonymously paying a restaurant bill or buying someone and unexpected small gift of appreciation. I love Christmas and what it stands for so I try to celebrate it in some way everyday!

May God bless and have yourself one terrific day!!!

I accepted that I am sick and that my surgery is about a month away. I've let it all go.

I had sex with the light on.
Hey, that was a HUGE sacrifice on my part, so I think I should get a pat on the back for it!
