6 Happy Things

I got the most coolest award from someone that is VERY creative, I mean, way more creative than me. Please visit Amy to check out how creative she is. Since I am so graciously accepting this award, I've got to name 6 things that make me happy and then pass this award to 6 of my bloggy peeps!

Six things that make me happy....
  1. Looking into my boyfriend's beautiful greeneyes and hearing him call me, "Boo".
  2. My daughters who think I am the greatest thing since sliced bread. They laugh at all my old, stale jokes and will say I'm the most beautiful mommy ever even when I say I'm not!!
  3. My pillow. Yes, I said it. My pillow. I have a confession to make. I sleep with a pillow...yeah, everyone does but this pillow has to be in my arms or else I can't sleep. It's sorta like a teddy bear. It's another post for another day but thank God for my pillow.
  4. A great cup of coffee on a Saturday morning with my Boo.
  5. My bonus baby's adoration for me, her "Momo".
  6. Music! I'm serious. If it weren't for music, I'd probably be nuts by now. But then again, I am a little bit there already!

Apricot-tea is my Married Boo. I'm proud of her creative spark for fashions and writing her inner thoughts outloud.

Pam is just the nicest person. I enjoy reading about her travels and adventures and there are many! Julie is like my second twin. She has the same sense of humor that I have. I just hope that she finds her prince charming too.

Tismee...she may not realize how witty she is but she is funny! I loved reading about the grandparents and their trip to the restaurant. "Where's the blackboard with the specials?"

Jarebear is my baby girl who really isn't a baby anymore but a beautiful, grown up, now employed at one of the top network tv stations, yippee! I love reading her thoughts. She has many profound thoughts whether she realizes it or not.

And last but not least...Dana. I just discovered Dana's blog and love it. Her honest and humor are so precious!!!

So this award goes out to all of you!!

My Bucket List

My twin sis and I have bucket lists. The funny thing is that they aren't literally on paper. They are in our heads. For instance, my Nay Nay called me and said, "You won 't believe what I did!  I got big girl shoes…for my bucket list." "Really? Big girl shoes?" I asked. I knew exactly what she meant. When we were born, and back in the day when braces could or should be recommended for feet that in-toed, we weren't given that joy. As a result, walking in high heels can often be a challenge. My Nay Nay decided that she was going to cross off one thing on that bucket list and found a deal of 10 pairs of heels. (Not one but 10. She went for the gusto.) Each day, she practiced walking in her big girl shoes until the moment finally came and she ROCKED those heels! Together we have decided that we WILL cross off stuff on our growing bucket lists. Some of those things are on both of our lists while others are our very own "personal" bucket lists...
