Bitten and taking the bite...Twitter

I know I've grumbled and said that I was SO over Facebook and I am BUT I still have an account and more than likely, I'll keep it because, I'm nosy like that.

The nosiness struck again and I've now been bitten by Twitter. I have NO IDEA what a Twitter is so if I've added you as a follower bear with me for being a bit on the dense side.

The good thing is that I'm learning much about social networking while looking to get out of my unemployed status as well as making publishing contacts. In the meantime, I get the scoop on who is having what for dinner and stuff like that!

I've also been invited, no, coerced into having a Farmville. Sorry guys, as fun as it sounds, I can't and won't put on my overalls. I don't need one more thing distracting me from getting my bottom up and moving!

Are you a part of a social network and if so, why and which one?

NOT a member on either, although I am feeling the pressure from groups of people that I know to join Facebook. I really don't want to because I find I am busy enough with the blog, I don't want to spend another minute on the computer.

I've been away on vacation, so thanks for stopping by all week. Now I can catch up on what you and all my pallies are doing!!

Is there really something called a Farmville? Obviously I'm not networked. Just my blog. Too much technology makes me nervous - not paranoid, just nervous. =]

On Facebook and Twitter but don't do a thing with either one.

What is a Farmville?

All of my online socializing is done via my blog or e mails.

I just gave up my farmville addiction lol

I am on FB and twitter I have my twitter intigrated with FB so if I post at twitter it shows up at FB...I like FB better it seems more personal my twitter moments come and go b/c twitter seems more buisness based...everyone of the tweets i get are a contest or something like that...
are we not friends on FB?

I'm still with fb because I'm so noisy. I want to be kept in the loop... check out pictures of people having fun and their new babies... It's so addictive!

I'm also on Twitter... but not as much as fb. Most of the times, I forget to twit.

Now I can send status updates via my mobile straight to fb and Twitter in the form of texts.

How cool is that!

I met my Viking love on Facebook (see my new public blog). I don't "do" FB anymore but I am on Twitter. I am still not sure what Twitter is really all about aside from posting an hourly/daily/weekly timeline. To me it's just FB's "status update".

haha girlie, I'm on twitter and on facebook. I do play a littel bit of Farm town and have NO clue as to what I'm doing. I hear it;s an addictive game. I have enough addictions, blogging, smoking, coffee, FOOD.. grrrr.

Sorry I missed your call last night, I had a major migraine and wasn't up to talking. =( my head still hurts and I can't call in sick =(

I'll try to call you tonight if my head isn't killin me to bad ..wish me luck today..hopefully I can get through the day =/

I joined Twitter a long time ago but have never used it. Why do I need it when I give updates on Facebook? There's only so much "social" I can do!

I'm on facebook and I use it to reconnect or stay connected to old friends. My fiance goes under mine and plays all the games.

I have no idea how to Twitter but I really don't need one more thing to suck up my time :)

My Bucket List

My twin sis and I have bucket lists. The funny thing is that they aren't literally on paper. They are in our heads. For instance, my Nay Nay called me and said, "You won 't believe what I did!  I got big girl shoes…for my bucket list." "Really? Big girl shoes?" I asked. I knew exactly what she meant. When we were born, and back in the day when braces could or should be recommended for feet that in-toed, we weren't given that joy. As a result, walking in high heels can often be a challenge. My Nay Nay decided that she was going to cross off one thing on that bucket list and found a deal of 10 pairs of heels. (Not one but 10. She went for the gusto.)
