It's our birthday...time to celebrate!!! **UPDATED**

Today is officially the birthday of all birthdays! I had posted last night and didn't realize that the date would still be the 23rd instead of the 24th. Thank you for all the well wishes!!

I am indecisive on posting a sappy, teary type of birthday wish or one that is filled with humor so I'll do both. First off, I've got to say a happy birthday to my twin sister. Obviously, if it's her birthday, it's mine too. She is the ONLY one I can call and say, "Happy Birthday" and she repeats, "Yeah, happy birthday to you too!" Seriously!!

My twin sister, Twin Boo has been the greatest gift since the egg split and we were developed and shared one placenta. She has been my womb mate, my room mate and hopefully, when we are 330 years old, my tomb mate!

Twin Boo, this blog post if for you! I really tear up when I look back at all of the times we've shared together. Forty six really isn't that old at all....we've got plenty of years left in us and if I have my way, we've got some serious living life on the edge to do. Let's make a promise this day that we WILL go on that road trip....the Thelma and Louise trip (minus the driving off the cliff) and have the time of our lives. I seriously promise that if we end up in jail, I'll con the guards into letting me use the bathroom while you climb out of the window. Then, while they go in search of you, I'll make a mad dash.

Thank you for allowing me to be me always....even when I'm goofy, tired and not making sense, you continue to be there for me. If I was you, I would've left my a** at the corner liquor store and kept on booking! LOL

Thank you for loving the same kind of junk foods that I love...the animal crackers, cheesecake, pizza with extra cheese, onion rings, pastrami sandwiches and potato chips and dip. It makes celebrations so much fun!

I hope that this birthday is one that you and I will never forget. Let's plan a girls night out and invite the world!!!!

PS--Neecy and Nay Nay WILL happen. There's too much story to tell!

Happy Birthday dear sisters!! In 2006 my sister, my dog Ginger and I took a fantastic road trip from NJ to Seattle! It was so much fun and I would recommend all sisters do it!! She has a heavy foot on the gas pedal!! I would say "Memo!" to her meaning please slow down........I drive like an old Grandma. We drove thru the scariest thunder storm thru Chicago area, met lots of fun people, saw lots of corn, loved the Cracker Barrel franchise and the Super 8's (pet friendly) along the way. Montana is the biggest, longest state to drive thru!!!

Twin Boo says, "Hapy birthday to you too!" My sis has shared with you some of the crazy details of our misadventures. Believe me, they are ALL true! Thanks for the well wishes. I'm thrilled that my twin, (older by 10 minutes) has found a wonderful source of friendship with all of her blog sisters. She means the world to me. I would seriously give her a kidney if she needed it, take a bullet or tangle with a rabid dog just for her. The way I see it, one day we're going to live the dream of hitting the road Thelma and Louise style. Who knows, we might be gracing each of your towns one day. Just be prepared to bail us out or have our backs if we get into trouble. It never fails!! Happy birthday! I'm sending over a caramel, pecan cheesecake just for you!

My Bucket List

My twin sis and I have bucket lists. The funny thing is that they aren't literally on paper. They are in our heads. For instance, my Nay Nay called me and said, "You won 't believe what I did!  I got big girl shoes…for my bucket list." "Really? Big girl shoes?" I asked. I knew exactly what she meant. When we were born, and back in the day when braces could or should be recommended for feet that in-toed, we weren't given that joy. As a result, walking in high heels can often be a challenge. My Nay Nay decided that she was going to cross off one thing on that bucket list and found a deal of 10 pairs of heels. (Not one but 10. She went for the gusto.) Each day, she practiced walking in her big girl shoes until the moment finally came and she ROCKED those heels! Together we have decided that we WILL cross off stuff on our growing bucket lists. Some of those things are on both of our lists while others are our very own "personal" bucket lists...
