Creative Saturday Revisited

I didn't create as I would've like to but I did find a dress for the wedding. I went to so many stores that by the time I got to Burlington Coat Factory, I was hitting panic. I called Married Boo, almost in tears. "I can't find a dress so I'm not getting married." I could tell she was trying to be sympathetic but she just didn't understand. "I feel like an Oompa Loompa and nothing seems to say, "My wedding dress". She did her best to console me and then hung up to call TV Boo who pitied me so much that she met me at the mall to walk me through my panic attack/hysteria. Unfortunately, I couldn't find anything in ivory considering that the winter fashions are now out and the "in style" color is black. I refuse to wear black to my wedding.

So, I was back to square one until I went back to online shopping and found something that I really do like. I just hope and pray that it fits me and it gets here in a rush. (Shipping express better be fast!)

That was my creative Saturday. How was yours?

Hope the dress turns out perfectly, Simone. :)

My late Sat/very early Sun was not creative at all... unless you call sitting with Z while she sits on the throne, telling me, "I'm not sleepy anymore, Mommy. I want to watch Marlin (Nemo)." At 3am!

I hope it's just exactly what you want! No matter what...you're getting MARRIED! Yay!

Well, your day was exhausting! I guess I missed the part where you explained why you waited until the week of your wedding to find something you like by way of attire? I hope that the one you found on line is PERFECT. But you know what? He's marrying you, not your dress. It's the marriage that's important, not the wedding details. So keep taking those deep breaths. It will all work out. It always does!

Good luck on that dress! I hope it fits you like the queen you are!

My creativity came last night, oops I mean this morning suddenly and furiously. In fact, I'd love for you to read my post about it and offer your thoughts as a fellow writer, whenever you get a chance:

What would you have to talk about years from now as you rock in your chairs together if everything goes perfectly for the wedding? It's those little goof ups and mis-cues that make the event entirely yours.

Happy wedding!
