Is it Just Me or.......

Head on over to Hallie's place to blog along with her Is It Just Me Or....

1) The older guys get, the higher they wear their pants?

2) I can change clothes at least three times if I feel like I look fat in the shirt or pants I've chosen.

3) Cleaning out my closets and drawers is exhilarating. I feel so good when I'm clutterless.

4) I'd rather help the homeless by giving a loaf of bread, peanut butter, jelly and fruit than giving them money.

5) The old school candy like Jujyfruit, Milk Duds, Mike N Ikes, Hot Tamales, Bit O Honeys, Chick O Sticks, Now or Laters, tasted way better way back when than they do now.

6) It takes me awhile to get used to Boo when he cuts his mustache off or shaves his hair off. I get shy around him until I'm used to him again.

7) When a bill collector calls and they ask for me by name, I'll say, "She's not home at the moment, can I take a message?"

8) I am struggling with hearing Christmas music right now. It just seems a bit too early.

9) I could eat Chinese food 5 days a week! (The other two days would be seafood and pasta).

10) I get easily annoyed when Boo procrastinates, yet, I am guilty of it at times too, like when it comes to exercising.

Cute post! What a great idea! Thanks for sharing! I can relate to the mustache haircut thing, I'm the same way every time hubby gets his hair cut!

We have a lot in common. I agree about the old school candy tasting better back then and I always prefer giving food rather than money. I could eat Chinese 5x a week too!

I love Christmas, it's this chicks favorite season. I look forward to it year round but dog~gone~it I don't want to hear the carols while I'm shoppin' until after I've eaten the turkey!!!

Thanks for sharing and you have yourself one fantastically blessed day!!!

Nope! It's not just you. I always get thrown by number 5. I think I'm going to enjoy that candy bar or that stick of gum but the way I remember it is not the same as the actual experience.

Haha, you so obviously did not grow up in the Philippines, Simone! I remember that the radio stations would start blaring out Christmas carols as early as September --the first of the -ber months. :)

Since we don't really have Thanksgiving here (nor in the Philippines), we don't have to wait until after that to start playing Christmas carols, which we have started to do every night since the tree was put up. :)

Each year, we men get a memo stating at what level to wear our pants this year, based on our age and nationality.

Cute post.

I hear you on #5!!!! I used to LOVE Milk Duds as a kid, now they hurt my teeth they taste so bad.

And isn't to great to be clutter-free. I love that feeling!

The next time a bill collector calls, say:

"This is her maid. May I take a message?"

Please? Do it for ME!

Love the list!!!

I too think the 'back then' candy doesn't taste as good now. :-( Sure wish it did because I loved that stuff!

I could eat mexican food EVERY SINGLE day!

I agree the candy tasted better "back in the day" Also the Hostess Cupcakes - now they taste "artificial" if that makes any sense.

I could eat spaghetti 7 days a week!!
