I have to give a little background history on this one...
Yesterday, I drove by a fire that had just broken out in my neighborhood. I had Baby Boo with me so I couldn't leave her in the car so I rushed home, dropped her off with Boo and prepared to head back.
He yelled: "What are you going to do?"
Me: "I'm going to help whoever needs help. I'll be back!"
En route, I called TV Boo who is an editor at the local newstation here. She asked me to get pictures since all of the reporters and photogs (tv speak for photographers) were on other assignments.
I rushed to the fire and by then, there were 10 firetrucks and police cars. I smiled to the first officer blocking everyone from getting close. "So, what's the possibility of me getting close to the fire so that I can get some good shots for KESQ?"
Officer: No possibility. This is the safest spot and don't you move! (I guess he must've sensed that I could "sneak" if I really wanted to.)
So I got pictures and rushed home to send them to the newstation. I just knew that maybe, they might ask me to be an anchorwoman after they saw my pictures. I keep reminding TV Boo that I would be "good" at it and of course, being unemployed, I would appreciate the opportunity.
TV Boo told me that they had all the staff that they needed but I've decided that I'm going to show them my abilities. So, check this out!

Girl, you are too funny! The microphone! The "vehicle" that flies! Is Bob a real person? Let us know when the TV station calls you in for your big break!
Beautiful decorations, by the way!
BRAVO!! I love it! You know, if things don't work out with George Stephanopolous on Good Morning America, I think you should apply. He looks waaay to short sitting next to Robin Roberts. Plus I miss the way Robin & Diane Sawyer would sometimes match the colors of their blouses. I'm still warming up to JuJu who took the new guys place too. So see, 2 potential openings for you right there!
On the DL, I feel somewhat obligated to tell you that those Joneses are known to 'hit the sauce' a little, if ya know what I mean.
Ya just cracked me up....again! I'll be lookin' for you on the National News soon. I'm sure if you take your own microphone they'll put you in the anchor seat. Loved this post!
Have a wonderful day filled with many job opportunities.
That is too cute! Loved the microphone and what a job reporting on that fire! I loved your Christmas tree and decorations, you know me, I have to snoop!
You are a riot!! More attorney than reporter!! xoxo
I think this is your calling! I'll watch you when you hit the national news!
ROFL!!! You are a star and they need to snap you up!!
I love your serious attitude -- you didn't waiver and you reported this very serious "crime" in such a professional manner!!
Your microphone was also state of the art!!! :)
Keep the Vlogs going gurlie. You'll be noticed. And your tree looks beautiful.
Bahahaha!!! Love it!!! ( And I SO do the smae thing, take pictures, hoping they'll get used, but... I dont really know anyone in showbiz who could use them :P )
Love your Vlog
Now I just don't know why they don't hire you on the spot! Their loss:)
Love it! I think it is your calling! Your Christmas decorations are gorgeous as are you. Have a wonderful day!
HI!!!

Good for you though. It just may be your calling. :-)
EXCELLENT!!!!!!!!!! I smell Emmy!!!
You are so quick witted and funny. You need to put it to use. And you can write too! OH, and there's the ' you're cute' part. Should I hate you yet? ;)
You asked if I collected things other than bells. Heck yes. I've blogged some of them in the past and I think I create a collection archive in my sidebar because so many of us love collections, don't we?
Love it, love it, love it! You had me from the get-go with that little microphone in your hand. Mwah!! :)
What a hoot! Since I don't have a fire place maybe I will be safe from the invasion of the fat man in the red suit. He sounds scary!
Nice job. I think you need to apply for some on air jobs.
HIRED!
And when I own my own TV station I'm gonna give you a call.
Great job!
You are just fab. You totally should be on tv and I love your mic. A crack up.
Ha! "Neighbors are concerned they will be visited by this very fat man".
You are a hoot! And I definitely think you have a possible tv news career in the making!
Great post :-)

Where do your talents end!
I enjoyed watching you...I'd hire you. :)
