I wanna be an anchorwoman - vlog

I have to give a little background history on this one...

Yesterday, I drove by a fire that had just broken out in my neighborhood. I had Baby Boo with me so I couldn't leave her in the car so I rushed home, dropped her off with Boo and prepared to head back.

He yelled: "What are you going to do?"

Me: "I'm going to help whoever needs help. I'll be back!"

En route, I called TV Boo who is an editor at the local newstation here. She asked me to get pictures since all of the reporters and photogs (tv speak for photographers) were on other assignments.

I rushed to the fire and by then, there were 10 firetrucks and police cars. I smiled to the first officer blocking everyone from getting close. "So, what's the possibility of me getting close to the fire so that I can get some good shots for KESQ?"

Officer: No possibility. This is the safest spot and don't you move! (I guess he must've sensed that I could "sneak" if I really wanted to.)

So I got pictures and rushed home to send them to the newstation. I just knew that maybe, they might ask me to be an anchorwoman after they saw my pictures. I keep reminding TV Boo that I would be "good" at it and of course, being unemployed, I would appreciate the opportunity.

TV Boo told me that they had all the staff that they needed but I've decided that I'm going to show them my abilities. So, check this out!

BRAVO!! I love it! You know, if things don't work out with George Stephanopolous on Good Morning America, I think you should apply. He looks waaay to short sitting next to Robin Roberts. Plus I miss the way Robin & Diane Sawyer would sometimes match the colors of their blouses. I'm still warming up to JuJu who took the new guys place too. So see, 2 potential openings for you right there!
On the DL, I feel somewhat obligated to tell you that those Joneses are known to 'hit the sauce' a little, if ya know what I mean.

My Bucket List

My twin sis and I have bucket lists. The funny thing is that they aren't literally on paper. They are in our heads. For instance, my Nay Nay called me and said, "You won 't believe what I did!  I got big girl shoes…for my bucket list." "Really? Big girl shoes?" I asked. I knew exactly what she meant. When we were born, and back in the day when braces could or should be recommended for feet that in-toed, we weren't given that joy. As a result, walking in high heels can often be a challenge. My Nay Nay decided that she was going to cross off one thing on that bucket list and found a deal of 10 pairs of heels. (Not one but 10. She went for the gusto.)
