These Are A Few of My Favorite Things

One of my favorite movies during the holidays is the Sound of Music. Of all the songs that are featured, These Are a Few of My Favorite Things is one of my "favorites". It always inspires me to think of some of my favorite things and here they are for this year....

1) Being called, Babe, Honey, Sweetheart, Mommy, Mamasan and Momo.

2) Frozen sour gummy worms

3) Oregon Ducks football

4) J reaching over to hold my hand when we sleep.

5) the beauty of the Northwest

6) oatmeal for breakfast

7) talking to my dad about sports

8) Surprise text messages

9) My puppies dancing for joy when they greet me at the door

10) Poppycock

What are some of your favorite things?

I have to wonder what led you to try frozen sour gummy worms!

Oooooooh, Raindrops on roses and whiskers on kittens...

Truly ya know by now it doesn't take much to set me off. I sang this solo in competition when I was in High School. Now, it's shoved all the carols outta my head and stuck right there.

I do love your list and now I need to try your frozen sour gummy worms.

I love the laughter of grandchildren, my hubs face when I walk in a room, joinin' friends anywhere, the warmth of a fire, the glow a Christmas tree give a room, chocolate anything but most of all my Lord and Savior. Woohoo!!!

The list could go on but it would be like that song that never ends.

God bless you sweetie and have a glorious day!!!

Frozen sour gummy worms sound intriguing. Might need to try those. I alternate each morning between oatmeal and grits. Today was oatmeal. =) Poppycock is addictive and I've banned it from my house.

Reading aloud to my sweetie before he falls asleep; a call from any of my children; the foolishness of my cat; the faces of my granddaughters; fish and chips for lunch at our favorite little place; a sunny day anywhere.

Sweet list of favorite things. My most favorite things would be little arms reaching around my neck for a hug and hearing the words I love you grandma.

Boy, I will join you on the Poppycock or Moose Munch if I can get it. I'm not a fan of oatmeal unless it's in a cookie and I am not a fan of sour anything. I loved being called Nana by those little voices. That's special.
