Randomness

There are certain words that flash through my mind and I wonder, "Why?" The word that is hitting me is "randomness".

I know that randomness happens mainly when it's least expected...like having the hiccups. (Which I have at the moment.)

I don't realize how often I live for randomness. I need randomness because if my day is completely scheduled and orderly, I need surprise...random surprise.

When my twin sister and I were in kindergarten, we went to a school carnival. There was a cake walk. Of course, it was random, yet, we walked until, the music stopped and my sister's numbered square was called. She was the winner of a cake! Random surprise!

I love it when Boo brings me flowers, or opens the door for me or puts my jacket around my shoulders or pulls me to him in an embrace. I need random. No. I. Crave. Random.

Random keeps life from being boring. So how about it? Do you like randomness?

I never thought about randomness in this way, yes I would love some of that randomness.

Random is good; else, life would get a bit boring. :)

"Life is what happens while you're making other plans"...that's pretty random stuff.

I like to think of it as variety. It's necessary...and unavoidable unless you're a hermit living in a cave somewhere.

I just have to burst out laughin' here. My life on the Ponderosa is totally random. I try to make plans and cows get out, Hubby needs help or the world around me goes completely wacky. I do love the good randoms, like when I opened Hubs lunch box to clean it out and found the garden gloves I've been craving!!!

Ya'll have yourself a wonderful Wednesday!!!

I've been feeling a little lonely lately, even though I'm not really alone or even bored. I think this is what I am missing. Random surprises! Thank you for sharing such a need explaination and post!! HUGS, Coreen

I'm in a mood at the moment where I'd do just about anything for a little randomness.

Funny, I've never given it much thought, I like randomness in small doses. I'm very much a planner, a type A personality and did I mention "control" freak :)

Randomness can freak some people out. Especially those who feel they must control all aspects of life.(I have at least one family member in mind!!) But, I'm with you, randomness makes life sparkle.

I like good random--like winning cakes on cake walks, but I don't like bad random--like flat tires or somebody dying.

Randomness tests us, forces us to re-think things and act on our feet. It's good to be sharp and have a few unexpecteds in life.

Ah, yes, randomness. My life is random. My blog tends to be a bit random as well. One day it's serious, the next silly, the next about family, and the next a craft.

I've decided that if everything were always the same it would be like viewing the world in shades of gray. Thank goodness we have a vibrant world!

I'll be following you...:)

God bless you.

Oh, and I forgot to say, thank you for such a kind comment on my blog today about Caleb and his Bible.

Blessings...again.

And, again, I meant to state...I'm glad I'm following you...but in the course of randomness...and dealing with my seven month old in the last three seconds before I race back to pick up my daughter from ballet I typed what I didn't mean to type! :)

~Rachel~ now the new queen of randomness.

Hmmmm...interesting. I like randomness in some areas, but I usually want to be in control, to know what's coming.

Speaking of cake walks - that's the first thing I ever won!

It's been a while since i've visited, so this is the first time I've seen your new blog background--I love it! So pretty and creative! I too enjoy randomness from the children. Isn't it sweet?

I never thought of randomness from this perspective!!

I'm a creature of habit - I thrive on routine but randomness once in a while is good.
